Privacy Policy

Account data
Cove stores your account email, password hash, hashed recovery code, hashed session tokens and synchronized preferences. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored in plain text. IPTV source credentials and stream URLs remain on your device and are not included in the preference service.
Purchases and translation usage
Cove verifies Apple-signed purchases and stores subscription identifiers, the linked Cove account, product, validity and revocation state. A server-side duration counter tracks audio submitted for live translation. It is shared across devices. Cove does not receive your payment card information. Apple handles payment.
AI processing
When you explicitly enable AI subtitles, decoded audio is relayed to the provider selected in Settings, Soniox or OpenAI. Only translated text is returned to the app. Cove's relay does not save audio or captions. Discover AI sends your request, questionnaire answers and a bounded selection of title metadata to DeepSeek through OpenRouter. Cove does not persist AI conversations. Provider processing is governed by their own policies.
Images and metadata
Cove can contact metadata, artwork and Wikimedia services to retrieve public title information and country photos. Country-photo requests contain country names, not your IPTV credentials. Public photos are cached on your device and their credits are available from the country card.
Security and retention
The account service uses TLS, hashed credentials, bounded requests and authentication protections. Account/preferences and usage counters persist while the account is active. Deleting an account deletes its preferences, sessions and usage counters. A pseudonymous purchase-ownership record is retained to prevent a purchase being replayed onto another account. Server backups can retain deleted records for up to fourteen days.
Advertising
This version does not integrate advertising. Any future advertising integration will require an updated privacy disclosure. Paid subscriptions have an ad-free entitlement.
Your controls
You can disable AI subtitles, stop discovery requests, sign out and delete your Cove account from Settings. Manage or cancel purchases separately in Apple account settings. Provider policies: https://soniox.com/privacy, https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy, https://openrouter.ai/privacy.

IPTV Cove is operated by Garcini Media Inc. For privacy questions, data access, correction or deletion requests, contact jeremy@garcini.io. Account deletion can be initiated in the app without contacting support.
Website
The public Cove website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking cookies or third-party fonts. Like the account service, its hosting infrastructure processes connection data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the service. Support emails are used to respond to your request. Please do not send account passwords, recovery codes or IPTV credentials.
